An obsessive impulse to steal regardless of economic need


We are made to believe that Kleptomaniacs do not steal because they need the item but rather because they are compelled to do it.......but as Africans we have to call a spade a spade and in this case "a thief a thief"


i however believe that a kleptomaniac is just an advanced thief that can lie his/her way out of situations......YES...I think kleptomania was discovered as a way of getting a thief a lighter punishment from the law and now others have caught up on it....thats just my opinion though.


Stealing is addictive


 Most of us have probably committed theft once or twice, [u know that time in boarding school when you took your dorm mate's **Maryland cookies** or **janded shirts or socks** the occasional **bathing soap** and even **uniforms** or even **boyfriends** {some people are boyfriend kleptomaniacs and the only thing to do is to keep your man away from them}
i know someone who knows someone that knows a girl that once any of her friends get a new guy, her next mission is to get with the guy....the thing just sweets her like that....Lord help us]


Maybe you were caught or your conscience did not let you rest so you never did it again
or maybe you still do it once in a while........{there was some girl in my college that stole a belt from another student...the 'maga' did not even wait, she started rocking the belt the next day and she was obviously nabbed}


However there are people amongst us who cant help themselves not that they do not know what they are doing but more that they are so use to stealing and they probably started just like us in school but never gave it up.


Upbringing has a part to play in it but most importantly one's self is to blame...yes in an extremely rare situation, the person might not have been taught right from wrong and then some people might try to justify themselves that they do not know right from wrong but truth be told they would not like it if someone else took their stuff, so if they do not feel good being robbed then they should not rob others.


i have indeed met some "kleptomaniacs" in my life and trust me they are good liars and you find yourself caught up in their web of lies before you can say 'CHRIS BROWN DIDN'T BEAT RIHANNA'


And they would steal anything and everything from things they need to the ones they don't:- money, clothes, shoes, even boyfriend self...


And that brings us to the point of this post....NOTHING
i just felt like blogging about the topic and i did because i can....:p
